looking at a 2005 passat wagon 1.8T...need opinions

Hi guys how are you? well i'm in the market for a new (used) car and came across a 2005 passat wagon..it has about 55000 km on the clock and is certified by carfax and certified as "one owner" car! It has the 1.8T engine and is 5 speed manual.
Is there anything i should know about this car? what should i look out for (in the drive/inspection)?
is it a good, reliable car? I know the 1.8T engine has been around for quite some time and is fairly reliable.
Any info/opinions would be much appreciated.thanks

please look at the post about the 2003 passat with the oil pressure issue from a couple days ago. Also ask when the timing belt and water pump was changed. VW passat has a plastic impeller on the water pump and if not changed to a metal impeller, if the car was ever to overheat because of lack of circulation, the plastic will break and clog the coolant passages. NOT good! Also check on the last time the clutch was replaced and the fluid for it. Eventhough it is manual, you still need to take care of the fluid just like in a automatic. Also, take a look at the oil and see what color it is and what it smells like. Yes, smell the oil to see if it is really brown and burnt smelling. Take off the oil cap and look under the valve cover to see if it has a dark brown or bronze cover. This will indicate that the oil has gotten to hot at some point and there could be issues down the road. Listen for the turbo also to see how resonsive it is and any type of tapping noise for shaft play.
