Hoping someone can help
Hi all,
I am dealing with a warranty company on a problem that they don't want to fix. (don't even ask, I might break something). Anyway, car started stalling and a few codes came up. All deal with the fuel system. We replaced the pressure sensor (recommended first as it is the cheapes). But that didn't work. So now I'm on to the High Pressure Fuel Pump, located on the engine. The issue is that VW wants my first born for the part. They have stated that there is a new pump, so I need a new hose and fittings. Through a friend of mine, I supposedly have gotten the part number for the pump, but I can't find it anywhere except one place were they state it is no longer carried. Can anyone help? Its a 2009 VW CC. They (VW) state that the part # is 06H 127 025P. Can anyone help find the original pump or pump number or find a secondary place to get this pump? Thanks! Andrew |

It was "Fuel Pressure Regulator". P0087 - 89
I looked and its built onto the Fuel pump, and looks like I could take it apart, but apparently the "new design" is a one piece that they sell now?. -Andrew |
Should mention, remind, that we replaced the fuel pressure "sensor" on the fuel rail by recommendation of VW, but that didn't help so now they are saying I need to replace the pump.

EOBD II Error Code: P0087 Fault Location: Fuel Rail/System Pressure too Low Possible Cause: Power Loss. Fuel pump (FP). Fuel pressure regulator. Fuel supply pipe blockage. Mechanical fault. Possible Solutions: Check Measuring Values for Fuel Pressure. Check for bent/squeezed Fuel Lines. Check Low Fuel Pressure System for Leaks. Check Fuel Filter & Filter in Fuel Pump. Check the Fuel Quantity supplied by the Fuel Pump. Special Notes: When found in 2.0l TFSI: Check Fuel Pressure. When found on 2009 Audi 3.2 FSI AVS Engines, if DTC 000022/P0016 is flagged, please see TSB 15-09-04. |
