check engine codes
i have a 2000 volkswagen passat v6 5speed with approx 170k miles. i currently have the check engine light on and decided to check the codes to see what it was. 2 codes popped up p1411 which im hearing could be a vacuum leak and p0441 which im hearing can be the purge valve. this is the first volkswagen ive ever driven im usually a honda person technically this is my fathers car that i use as a DD and i just wanna try to fix it. any ideas where i can start to zero in on the problem specifically i dont wanna just go in blind and spend money on parts i dont need at the moment. any help is appreciated

Fuse for Secondary Air Injection Pump blown. Vacuum Hose(s) leaky or collapsed. Piping between Secondary Air Injection Pump and Combi (Secondary Air Injection) Valve leaking. Secondary Air Injection Solenoid(s) faulty. Combi Valve(s) faulty. Possible Solutions: Check Fuse for Secondary Air Injection Pump. Check Vacuum Hose(s). Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Sealing faulty. Pipes between Tank Breathing and Throttle Body leaky/blocked. Hose connection(s). Intake leak. Possible Solutions: Check Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Regulator Valve (N80). Perform Output Test. Check Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Solenoid Valve (N115). Check Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister. Perform Basic Setting. Check Pipes between Tank Breathing and Throttle Body. Special Notes When found in the NAR (North American Region) 1.8T Audi A4 1.8T check TSB 24-08-78 or 2010268/3 or Pass-Thru equivalent TSB. When found in the NAR (North American Region) 1.8T VW Passat 1.8T check TSB 01-09-09 or 2005554 or Pass-Thru equivalent TSB. Note: The Passat 26E5 or "R5" recall includes the same software update. Make sure the quick release lines for the N80 valve and vacuum line to LDP are not crossed. This can also make the engine hard to start after filling up the fuel tank. Unfortunately there are dozens of stupid and unimportant causes for the lightweight to arrive on. But ascertaining the cipher will give you something to go on whether it's important. If your ascertain motor lightweight is on, do a fast ascertain motor Checkup to be sure it's nothing common and meaningless.
