Car goes crazy when raining
 

Hi All,

I have Passat 2005 TDI.

Its heavily raining here this morining, i tried to start my car, but it want start, it seems that battery dead, so i called my friend and we started it using cables.

After i started it i went over a street which has moving water over it (rain), my car got crazy, the EBS and ABS and handbrake light goes on, and i lost engine power, the radio goes off and on, the engine is running but i push the deisel pedal to the end and almost no power, after while engine power restored and car acts as usual, except i hearing noise (tick, tick tick rapidly) from lest side of the dashboard.

I went to the electric workshop and he says it a battery problem, so i got my friends battery and replaced with mine. The cars started fine so i tried to regenerate same conditions and got same results again, i switch the car off and it want start again :( Does water licking into electrical system or what is the problem, can u help me ?

I thought I recognised some of what you said. Did you post this Passat becoming crazy yesterday its a similar condition?
