cant locate the transmission on 2004 passat

hi guys, recently i experienced problems with my transmission so i went to the local mechanic here in town and he couldnt locate the transmission and he asked around other shops but no one seems to know so please help ...its 2004 passat gls

If you check the Options sticker that will have a transmission code that may help in tracking down a transmission.
