ABS, Break, Oil lights on

I have a 99 Passat V6. When I start the car, ABS, Break lights start blinking and as soon as I start driving the oil lights also comes on. I have checked the oil level, it is good. The car drives fine, although when these lights are on the ASR system does not work( pushing the ASR button does not turn it off). Sometimes it works perfectly fine, no lights comes on. I got it scanned but did not got any codes, except a message saying 'intermittent ABS signal failure'. The dealer suggests to change the whole electronic control module. The car has ~115K miles.
Anyone with any idea about what could be the problem here.

RE: ABS, Break, Oil lights on

Your ABS computer is bad. This is a very common problem on passats. You can drive it with no problems you just won't have ABS or traction control. You can buy a new one from VW (very expensive) or send it off to a place in Florida to have it fixed.
