99 passat 1.8T wont start in cold! Help!!

Default 99 passat 1.8T wont start in cold! Help!!

so i put a new battery, starter, and coolant temp sensor. It just doesn't start in the cold. 20 degrees it works fine but when it gets to about 10 degrees it doesnt want to start. Both the mechanic i take it to and i dont have any idea what to do. Plz help!!

I had a similar problem but it ended up being the coolant temp sensor. Wouldn't start in the mornings, after it finally clicked over, would run fine the rest of the day. Got the tip on here, bought the sensor, plopped it in and all was fine. Not sure what else it could be but am curious to know once you find out.
