I just bought a (jan 92 built) Passat and the moon roof motor was unplugged (4 wires I beleive). It appears the wiring come fron the right side of the roof. I have all the liner removed ( need to find a new liner to replace watwer damage original) But back to the wiring I can't find the wiring harness that feed the moon roof motor. Does anyone know where the wiring is routed to the motor?

it has the diagrams in english and russian just search through the elngish text till you find your year range and click it
it will them pop up as a adobe file. with all the diagrams. about 45 pages worth

 

I thing you so very much, but I have the same wiring diagrahm but it does not tell where the physical wires are routed for the moon roof motor. I mean does it route through the door beam between the front and rear or does it come through the front channel next to the windsheild and in front of the right side or left side door? I have the complete headliner removed with all the trim removed (except for the one over the auto seatbelt) and I can see any wiring for the moon roof motor.

But I do thank you again and maybe someone needing the wiring diagrahm's will see your link and be helpful to them.
