got this car in Jan with 16k on it. its been the awesome vw its supposed to be. then all of sudden, it starts revving while idle. it just had an oil change done and im not sure that has anything to do with it. its got 34k on it. running 5w-40 oil European full synthetic. rest is standard.
any ideas?

How long is a piece of string?

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.
