2013 passat flood car
 

My dad bought a sandy flood 2013 passot s. The wire harness and all electronics in side are trashed. we are looking at buying a wrecked car for parts, lots of parts, lol.
I am wondering if the 2012 will be same as the 13. I talked to a dealer and he had not clue.

You need to get yourself a copy of ETKA 2013 then you can checkout the differences between 2012 & 2013 models by there part numbers.

I got a wrecked 2013 and changed everything from one car to other. What a job.
The parts car drove into the garage fine. I sent the Airbag out to get repairs.
I started it and all was working of, but then I got U0101 no com with tcm, and it wont turn over all the time. The p shows on inst for a few sec and then goes away. I tried talking to a dealership but they would not give me the time of day. I do not have the airbag controller is, will that do it.
does anyone have any ideas.

I found the issue, the ground wires on the left front frame rail was not making contact. I cleaned and all works great.
On my car it is under the head light ass. on outside of frame

No, actually there is lots of changes between 2012 & 2013 Passat flood. But, although if you need used parts so, I want to tell you that now online is a precious place where from you can get used parts for your Passat 2013 as well.
