Default 2008 Passat 2.0 TDI Front Light Bulb

Hi All
I am new here and have what is probably one of the most stupid questions

Yesterday I had my car MOT'd and sure enough today the front left bulb is gone. I got some message on the dash saying something like "Front passenger side low bean not working"

Anyway I have been looking through the book and all the info on bulbs is in section 3.3... all but the replacement bulbs

Can anyone advise what type of bulb I need to fix this?

Well if the low beam light is out it sounds like you need a new headlamp bulb. The easiest this is either go into Halfords and look at the books/charts or Google them.

Hi Keith
Thank you for the update
In my Porsche and my previous BMW the manual tells you the exact bulb you need for all lights, so for the headlight it would be H7 55W... In the Passat it doesnt seem to give this information. There are many different types of bulbs with different wattage but I can not find this in the book
If I go to Halfords it will be more than £10, if I but it from Ebay it will be about £1, it will be delivered to my door and I can change it myself
