2006 Passat camshaft
 

hello im new to passatworld and i am very excited about getting more information on my 2006 passatalthough ive been well aware that the 2006 passat was notorious for unusual wear on the camshaft i have one question. My passat has 51000 miles on it and as soon as i turn on the car, there is a ticking noise coming from the engine. i am assuming that it is the camshaft. since i still have waranty on the drivetrain will this be covered by it? also is there anyone else that has had this happen to them?
