Hello,

We have a 2003 1.8 turbo passat that won't start, the batterie is good, the starter was tested and it's good, the alternater is over charging a little, will have to change soon... When we put in the key, we just get a click, this is not the starter bendix, it's more the ABS that's getting the power--- anyways, we took the starter out many times trying to figure this out, when the starter is in the car and we turn the key as if we were starting it, the starter casing has power on the outer shell... We can't figure this out... I was told that the ground must be bad... Any of you know about this issue???
