03 Passat jerks at around 1500 RPM

Hello

I got my first VW Passat about 3 weeks a go and now I noticed at around 1500 RPM the car jerks a little bid until I take my foot off the gas or if I press it more until it downshifts. Can anyone tell me if this would be a transmition problem or engine problem? What can it be?
