I found a pair of old roof rack bars in my father's garage today. They were mounted on the wagon Passat the company he was working for was lending him back at that time. He always hated foreign cars, especially europeans, so he doesn't even remember what year was the wagon Passat. I don't remember exactly but it was a 1999, 2000 or 2001.

There is this part code written on it: 3B0 071 151 003 TPE

Could anyone tell me what car they fit on? Maybe some wagon Jettas too?

Do they need keys because they've been lost a while ago. We've moved in the meantime. You know how it is...

 

are these VW bars them self or some aftermarket bars???

Yes they are VW roof bars. Not aftermarket.

 

well i do know then(assumeing that they were on his wagen) that the 99-05 are all the same bars.i do also belive that those bars will fit on the jetta to. you dont NEED the key (just to open the little cover over the bolt.
