Help! Stuck in limp mode 2003 VW Passat
While my 2003 VW Passat 1.8 was in my slopped driveway my sunroof drains clogged and flooded floor causing TCM to corrode. It took quite some time to figure this out so by the time I pulled up carpet TCM was complete gone. I obtained one online but car still was sticking limp mode. After a suggestion I checked the harness and it was corroded also so I picked one up from a salvage yard and after a lengthy process attached it. First time I used wire connectors but no luck so I redid them with heat solder connectors thinking that would resolve it.
After all of this the transmission is still in limp mode and I'm beyond frustrated. Tach doesn't work and center spot on console that shows PRDxxx and has car that shows doors open etc is completely blank. |
Codes
I ran codes on VCDS Lite program but have free version so apparently not all show. Ran scan a few times and at one point only got P1854 but below are the codes that came up in multiple trys.Any help or ideas appreciated

Even if I edit it still doesn't show right. |
