Default Flooded ECM on 1.8L prevent starting?

Clogged drain plug under battery allowed rainwater to build up and possibly come in contact with Electronics box under windshield cowl. Car hasn't started since. It will turn over and all dash lights work, but just doesn't seem to be getting enough fuel to start. Suggestions?

Clear the clogged drain plug. Check it has fuel and spark. Check the timing belt hasn't broken. Find someone with VAG-COM\VCDS to check components.
