Whats up guys, just a quick question. Which year fuel pump/pre-pump will work on my 87'. Been having some kind of problem with the fuel pump, the car will start sometimes and run for a little while, 30 sec or so, then the pump make a loud whinning noise and shuts off. seems to be worse when its hot out but might be coincidence. Im thinking the pre-pump is gone and the pump is pulling through it, overheating and shutting off but idk for sure.

I would really appreciate any suggestions guys
