Wolfsburg changes - '08 thru 2010
 

Hello everybody,On the verge of making my first VW purchase. Dad has had a GTI for years, a couple friends have had a GTI for years. I'm looking at the Jetta Wolfsburg. Can afford new but don't like buying new in general, and have found it's tough to compare the past couple model years of the Wolfsburg edition as most of what is out there seems to be on forums like these and not on vw.com.
Two big questions:
- I've been reading about 'TSI' versus 'FSI' (or 'tsfi'?) engines - it seems like some '08s and '09s have one and some have another. There's a used '09 near me that is listed as 'FSI.' Which of these do I want, and to what extent does this matter?
- It looks like Bluetooth wasn't standard before 2010 - is this ever something that can be added after the fact? If I found an '08 or an '09 that had everything I want except Bluetooth, am I out of luck?
Thanks for your help and apologies for my ignorance - I've been hunting for some of this information but I'm still a VW noob and beyond knowing that it sure was fun to drive.
