Default Wiring Harness

I think I'm getting shafted by a dealership, but would like some input if possible. Does anyone know a "reasonable" cost for replacing the wiring harness on a 2002 Jetta? If anyone has a rough estimate or even a WAG it would be appreicated. I think there used to be a "book" cost for specific repairs, maybe they don't publish those anymore.

your lookin around 700-800 dollars. A normal shop runs around 75-80 dollars and hour for work time ..... others have a set price. Thats a tedious job and im sure they want a good buck for it

also which harness, the dash harness (inside dash) or engine harness?) the price all depends on the job. Ask around a few places for prices and compare
