Windshield Wiper Motor

Windshield Wiper Motor
Hello
My windshield wipers stopped working awhile back. I finally got around to picking up parts (the arms and a motor) from a salvage yard. Put them in but now they will only operate on high - low and intermitent won't work at all. Actually the high setting isn't as fast as it was before it broke if that is important.
Is there another fuse perhaps that controls the settings? Any other ideas?
I have a 94 Jetta III GL.
Thanks!

RE: Windshield Wiper Motor
well there would indeed be a fuse. and lemme think, check all those connections and make sure none of the wleds came loose. that happened to mine one time. do you know what windhsield wiper motor you got? like what car it came off of, (year and so on) i ask cause maybe they gave you one that was too new or too old. that will make some degree of difference. anyways, lemme know on ths and ill look t tsomething else too

RE: Windshield Wiper Motor
hi i have a 1997 jetta mark 3 2.0 and my wipers dont have a low i dont think.... the reason i say is becasue i can feel the different levels and the last one down before the "off" dosnt do any thing, i thought if i waitit might come on..but it dosent???? but i dont know if i will be trying to fix it as i will be converting it to a single wiper!!!! and if you want mine you can have it lol.
