does anybody know if there is a place to get an egr valve for under $500 that is outrageous!!!

 

im ordering a whole new distributor and 10.2mm plug wires with this paycheck and if that doesnt fix it... oh well, i guess ill keep hammering this thing with new sheet till i hit the nail im looking for... the internals are good the timing belt is new trani is fine all i need to do i guess is give a little tlc. so when i figure out where my problem lies i will update this thread. i was debating on selling or trading this car for a while but im truly in love... hah... eye-menluvwithaveedubbbb!!! no matter what is wrong with it, i have too much invested to back out now. thank you for all your help racerx002 i owe you biiggg tyme!!!

 

i replaced the distributor cap and rotor button and its running like new... what would happen if i completely removed the egr system from the car? i dont live in a emissions controlled area or anything and since its like $500 to replace i want to just take it off completely...

 

It would not run at all probably.
