Default What's up with the arm rest.

In my '02 jetta the arm rest seems to be so flimsy - should I be careful with it. Sometimes I am afraid to even press on it.

is this a problem with all of them? if it seems very loose, i would check with the dealer to see if it is common,or if you have a problem.

I had the same prob. There is a tech bulletin. go to your dealer and ask for the bulletin and kit.

I have an 03 and it is also flimsy and cheap. Did you ever find out if it was free? Or does some one know where to get this part? And how much does it cost?
Thanks.
