Warning Light in 2006 Jetta?
I just bought a used 2006 Jetta 2.5L with 81,000 miles. I noticed that when I turn on the car, on my odometer, the miles disappear and a light that looks like a little wrench flashes for a few moments, then goes back to displaying the miles. I have a 3-month warranty on the car and want to make sure nothing's wrong with it in that time frame. Does anyone know what that light means? It's not in my manual. Also, sorry for the bad cell phone picture quality!
Thanks in advance!

It means the car is due for a service as the mileage or time has increased since the last service, its a service reminder.
If that video doesn't remove the spanner icon then you need to find someone with VAG-COM\VCDS to reset it.
How to reset the "Service Now" or "wrench" symbol on Volkswagen Jetta (2005.5 and newer mk5 and mk6 Golf)
There should be options in the MFD settings that show you how many miles and days left until the next service is due.

Warning light is very useful during drive a car. Due to warning light we requires immediate attention, constantly self-testing, There are many function of warning light like Brake fluid level, Seat belt pre-tensioner, stability control, Tyre pressure monitoring system and many more.
