Uneven wear on rear tires.

Hey was up? I own a 04.5 GLI, and I'm getting diagonal flatspots on the rear tires. I've been to the dealer and had it checked, but nothing was wrong. The wierd thing bout it is, this is the second set of tires, and it didnt happen to the first set. I was wondering if anyone knew of anything it could be?

could be something wrong with the tires, but it sounds to me like it is the shocks

RE: Uneven wear on rear tires.

Nothing unusual about scolloped rear tires on front wheel
drive vehicles of any type. If your lucky and have the
correct tire tread they may not scollop out, by the way
that tire wear pattern were talking about is called
Heal and Toe wear by tire dealers. To stop it you have to
keep the correct tire pressure at all times and rotate the
tires often. High speed driving will also cause the same
wear pattern to appear. The tire tread design with a ugly
straight look will not usually give heal and toe wear, but
when you go to the agressive look they will do it.
NO IT'S NOT BROKEN, AND NO TIE RODS BAD.
