Default turbo hose

I have a hole in my turbo hose. the dealership wants $95 for a new hose. is there anyway around this? My car is a '98 TDI Jetta. the hose is about 6 inches long with a slight bend in it. the hose comes out of the turbo and i'm not sure what it leads into.

Default RE: turbo hose

if its a boost hose coming off the turbo you are going to want one thats ridged so it dosnt collapse or kink under pressure, you could either got the stock one or get a metal one made at a muffler shop but either way your going to pay 95+ also try looking at junk yards for the stock hose and you could prolly find one cheaper
