Default turbo

how can i turn up my boost on my 1.8 turbo?? ive got a neuspeed chip, and intake filter; and a HKS SSQ BOV, and i think im pushin bout 8lbs of boost, but someone told my i can get it up to 18 to 20 STOCK?? is it possible? HOW??

Manual boost controller, or electronic whatver you prefer. That's the only way I know how.

hi i know you have a jetta, but there is some good information that techoseven gave me and the rest of the forum about the k03s turbo that are in our cars. that's if you have that turbo in the jetta. i don't know. its under the first thread. question about my intake. Real good info that could help.

To safetly run that much boost i would suggest making your engine capable to handling it. Upgrade to a t3 turbo. the compressor housing is larger and the turbine gear ratio is much larger so there is a less chance of blowing a bearing.

K dunno excatly what that is, trim wise...but how does that raise the boost in the car/motor? Just cause you put another turbo in the car, you're still gonna run the same boost PSI, aren't you?
