I have a 2011 Jetta Sportwagen S. I would like to have the trip odometer stay visible when using cruise control. Now, when cruise is turned on, the trip odometer display is replaced with the cruise set speed (neither useful or accurate). There is also a cruise pictograph displayed in the center section of the dash and the word "Cruise" illuminates on the speedo.

Has anyone figured out how to keep the trip odometer visible, even when using cruise control? I've even tried changing the display behavior in VCDS (Vag-Com) without success.
