1992 deisel Changed tranny now the clutch will not engage-


I just changed out my tranny due to worn bearings in the final drive shaft, it was a AWY tranny. I found a AGS tranny and installed it, but I can't get the clutch linkage hooked back up and it seems that when I manually attempt to engage it only goes half way.
I figure this is something simple?
