timing belt constantly breaks

My timing belt constantly breaks . for the past 2 years it snapped maybe atleast 7 times. Every time i tell the mechanic to check the pully systems. he says that isn't the issue. does anyone else have an idea on why it constantly snaps/ getting tired of replacing the belt?
