91 jetta gl no battery problems cranks fine. it will start perfect and drive well, come back later an it wont run at all. get peed off come back later and it will start no problem. anyone have had this problem before?,,,,,,,,,,,,,,thanks pete

 

Try cleaning your posts on the battery. Get a wire brush, clean all the contacts very very well. I've had this problem with my 92'. Ever since I cleaned the posts and contacts I haven't had any trouble. Common stuff that happens over time.
