I'm trying to change my gear box fluid and a online book is telling me to use a special transmission plug tool?? it looks like a HUGE Allen wrench buy i do not know.. PLEASE HELP

18mm Allen socket is what you need. You should be able to find one at the parts store.

none of my local parts stores carry a hex wrench that big.. do i have to order one offline?

You probably wont find a hex wrench but you can find a hex socket. You want a socket anyway because you need some serious leverage to get that sucker off there.
