I'm looking to replace the spark plug wires for my 97' Jetta (4 cylinder - 2.0) and I need to know which ones I should buy.

I'm not talking about specific recommendations.

I just don't want to end buying the wrong ones.

Size and length? What are the specifications?

Also do they have to specifically say that they're for a Volkswagen Jetta or can i buy the "same fit" but under a different car brand like (hypothetically) BMW, Honda, or Ford?

They have to be an exact match to your engine. Any parts store should have them or go to ecstuning.com.
