Hello all, I'm new to the forums.

I bought an 07 Jetta Wolfsburg a few months back, it's the first VW I've ever owned although my parents owned a Beetle, Super Beetle, and a VW van when I was growing up

Anyway, I notice that everytime I go to enter the car, when I open the driver's door I hear what sounds like an electric-type sound, some type of servo motor or something that goes for about 3 seconds and then it's gone. It does this every single time I enter the car and it has since brand new, and I now have about 6,000 miles on the car.

Since it's a particular model you probably already know all about it, but I'll put the specs again in case it helps:

2007 Jetta Wolfsburg
2.5L 5 cylinder engine
6 speed Tiptronic transmission

I don't think the noise is a problem, just wondering what it might be...if you have any ideas I'd be glad to know! Thanks
