Default Some one who knows Jettas HELP

OK so I am buying a car from a lady for cheap I was hopeing you guys could tell me what model it is because she says she doesent know

its a 1999.5 Jetta
It is loaded with leather and heated seats

if it has the vr6 engine it might be the glx but chances are its a gl or gls

It ususally tells ya on the back if it is a 1.8T or VR6. My guess is the same as dubs, gl or gls, you might have a 2.0T, if you don't see a forced induction system (turbo), then it is probably a 2.0. Also count your spark plugs that will tell you if it is a v6 or 4 bannger. She looks good though so good on ya mate.

leather and heated seats is the GLS. The motor will tell you if it's 4 or 6 cyl. Looks it was hit in the back, or someone did a horrbile job of de-tagging the rear.
