revving up and not wanting to start help
 

got a 1999.5 jetta and its got an aftermarket intake on it just a cool air intake but....i need some help tryin to diagnose my revving problem...i go down the road and just let off the gas and it'll keep revving higher and higher...then i rev it up and let off and it stops for a bit...then it dont wanna start ...cranks and cranks and cranks but wont fire...wait 10 minutes and itll start ....any help would be appreciated
