Radio Code
Once you put in your code that should be located in your owners book you should not need to put it in again unless you pull out your radio or remove the battery,if you put in the wrong code three times your radio will not let you try again for I believe 12 hours.
I hope I helped |
thanks
thank you for the reply i really appraciate it.
thats what i thought but the problem is i have to enter the code every time i restart the car if i want to listen to the radio. i had it reinstalled at the dealership thinking they would know what they were doing but i am starting to have less and less confidance in them. i thought perhaps they forgot to plug in an alternate power source but im just guessing. any help would be much appraciated |
Why was the radio removed in the first place? maybe the radio is bad .

radio
the radio was removed because it is only am/fm no cd, it was removed by best buy when i purchased a cd player. i remember them saying somthing about vw's have a wire that has to be rerouted or somthing so it wouldnt blow out a obd2 reader i thought that might be my problem but not sure?
