po722 speed sensor & po730 gear ratio ?? after i pressure washed my engine,

what is the quick fix or the sulution to my problem? i pressure washed my 02 jetta wagon engine yesterday and when i went to drive away the tranny would not shift right, if i kick the throttle after 30 mph it shifts... now today i let the car run for a while with the hope that some thing will dry off and all set , not the case. I have no clue where or what the speed sensor looks like or is located? any pic's? and solutions please???

Hi...I know it's been a while since you posted, but I'm having the exact same problem. Did this issue resolve on its own (how long did it take) or what steps did you take to correct the problem? Thanks!

Hi , yes it has been a while, that i recall i had to change the speed sensor. nothing else i could have done to fix it i was told. small item and you can do it your self. I had my mechanic do it but looking at the job, i should have done it my self...
