i just got my car smogged and it read out a P0116 code "ECT Range/Performance Problem". has anyone ever had this code before or know what it means? thanks! )

It's the Engine Coolant Temperature circuit. It's located in the coolant pipe near the coolant outlet. Check the terminals in the connector and the wires leading to the sensor for looseness and breaks.

rock on thanks...i also have a P-0126 code which is connected to my minor coolant leak...so im glad to know this new code fits right in with the original problem and not a new one.
