Oil Light 02 Jetta 1.8T
 

I got a 2002 Jetta 1.8T. It has ~100K miles. This past month I had an oil change at local Delta Sonic. They put in Mobil 1 synthetic oil. I do not know the exact details about that. Supposevly I was good for 3,000 miles or Dec. 24. I had about 2,000 miles before another change.
Anyways, just recently oil light has turned on. When i start the car the light is off. After a short drive the light turns on. When I break til a stop it turns off. Increasing the speed turns it back on. Sometimes, it just stays on permanently flashing. The beeping noise is just so annoying. Please help me out. I am no mechanic so I have no idea what to do. I checked the oil dipstick. Oil looked fine and there was plenty of it. Should I go for another oil change at the delta sonic or better yet vw dealer? Or should I go to a mechanic? Thank you in advance. If you need any other details please let me know.
PS I just recently changed brakes. I do not know if that has anything to do with this issue.
