Default Oil change before or after long trip?

Hi all. I drive a 2007 Jetta 2.5. It has around 25,000 miles on it, and I'm about to embark on a 900 mile trip (total). My next oil change was scheduled for 26,000 miles, so the trip will bring me close to that "limit" but not over.

It currently has Mobil1 5w-40. Will it hurt the car to wait until I get back to do the oil change, or should I get it done now before the trip?

sidenote: Any easy-to-find retailers that sell Mobil1 5w-40? I've checked in lots of places and have been unable to find it. Thanks!

Hi what's up?
It shouldn't harm the motor but my suggestion would be to go on ahead and change the motor oil, might as well give it a full service to be on the safe side.
