Oil change on 2014 TDI
 

hi,
I am told by the dealer that this car requires an oil change every 10K miles. It seems a little too much to me but i am old school. Is this right? 10K?
If i were to do it myself, like i have been doing with all my cars, anything weird i need to know about how to change the oil on a TDI?

Yes 10k is the short oil change time they also specify a 20k service.

You could change the oil and filter yourself but you won't get the service schedule stamped for any warranty claim you may have in the future.
