No power at front passenger door!

Hello to all,

Please help! I HAVE A 2006 VW JETTA 2.5, all the door electronics on all the doors work except for the front passenger door. Nothing is working at all on the front passenger door. The window switch wont work, the lock switch, the little lite at the bottom of the inner door panel... nothing. Oddly enough, I can roll the front passenger window down with the master windows switch on the driver door, but I cant lock the front passenger door with the lock on the driver door, but I can lock all the other doors with it. Also when I look all doors with the key fob, the door doesnt lock, which initially I thought it was the lock actuator, so I changed that to a good one that I tested as working, and still nothing. So I just now changed the whole doorwiring harness. Still nothing. Can someone please help me. Thanks in advance.

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.

So by motor, Im assuming you mean the door lock actuator, and not the car engine? I also have maybe a silly question about the door lock actuator. Does the door lock actuator also control or power the other electronics on the door, such as the function of the window and the function of if the door is registered as closed or not? I assume not, but now I'm thinking otherwise.

Also, I detached the plug from the passenger door lock actuator, and applied battery power directly to the actuator 1 and 2 pins, and the door locked and unlocked when alternating power and ground directly to those pins.
