New Models (2011) + The Crayon Smell
 

My first VW was a 2002 Jetta (and after a stint with BMW I have circled back to a 2011 Jetta SEL).

In my '02 I noticed the 'crayon smell' after some years. A bit of googling has indicated that it had to do with the dash. Now, I know on the new 2011 models the dashboard is now made of hard plastic instead of the squishy stuff... Just wondering if this has 'resolved' the crayon smell or is this still something I should expect a few years down the line?
