Need help on small arms (ROD) diesel pump Jetta MKII
 

Hi from Québec Volkswagen friend... So i'm french.... Over 60 years old.... Like Volks and i always do my own repair... since my first Beetle 1967 when i was 17 years old.... But sometime i need help and if i can contribute to help, that's perfect.....

I want to ajust the timing of this diesel pump of my old Jetta MK2... But principally, i want to know what the use of those small rods on this diesel pump, and how to ajust them...

I love this car, and it's in pretty much good condition do for a Québec climat..... I want to keep as long then i can... I had checked on Youtube and nothin about those rods on the diesel pump....

I can't tell you of hand as an old Jetta Mk2 doesn't help.
