Default Need advice.

I am looking for a car and the jetta gli 1.8t is my top choice. I really like the blue color and would like it to be manual transmission. The thing is I am going to be buying the car off of ebay so its going to be hard to find the exact car I want. Anyways, right now, there is a red gli auto. transmission going for an amazing price on ebay. My question is am I going to be regreting settling for the auto. trans.(w/ tiptronic)? I mean I know I wont be able to rev the engine real hard and rip the tires but am I going to missing out...So, my question is standard vs. automatic?
Thank you

Go with the manual trans. I wish I got it in my car. The auto is still pretty peppy but it’s not the same. The other thing is the auto does not like the freeway. It has a low top gear and going 70 it really revs. outand sucks a lot of gas.But I don’t know the stick might be the same way.
Great car other wise

go with the manuel, my ex had a 1.8t with the auto and it felt like my old gti with the 2.0 (which buy the way is slower than ****) and my 1.8t with the manuel is way fun. i recomend looking in your local paper or auto trader rather than ebay as well.
