i just picked up a 2004 vw jetta gli and i was wondering what i can do to it like what kind of boost controller i can get or boost gauge or intake or anything like that

Are you refering to a boost monitoring system or a something that will GIVE you boost. Also be careful with mods if you aren't familar with your car because it might void your warranty.
