Misc. Problems that need YOUR help
I have a 98 Jetta Wolfsburg Edition. It is my first car and overall hasn't really ever failed me. I am the second owner, and I am trying to take care of it as best I can. However, it has developed some issues that I can't fix on my own. Here is a few...
The window in the back does not work at all, this stopped only a few days ago. I think it is the regulator, not sure... If I hit a bump or something it starts to fall down, so I have to keep pushing it back up.
Second, the air conditioning. I can hear it kick on, but it only does so at 2K RPMs. If you are sitting at idle or anything under 2K, then the air does not work. However as soon as you go above it, works fine.
Third, it does not really idle correctly. When it starts up, mainly in the morning, the RPMs dip way below idle, sometimes I have to give it gas to keep it alive.
Fourth, this one may be related to #3, although this issue has existed a little longer than #3. While going along, most of the time when I shift up, I give it gas and it sputters really bad. Won't die it just won't accelerate correctly due to the "sputter".
SO, thanks for your help, please please please give me anything useful on any of these topics. I am willing to try and fix them myself if possible, although I am not really mechanically inclined.
Thanks again!!!
