Memory seats move?

I have set my memory seats on my 2006 Jetta 2.5 with P2 package. I notice when I lock the car to leave and come back and unlock my car, the seats automatically move forward for some reason as I unlock the car. I have to move it back to my preset memory. I don't know why it does this. Has anyone experienced this? thanks!

You can link the key fobs to one of the memory settings so that when you use that fob to unlock the door and then open the drivers door the drivers seat will move (it doesn't move if you open another door and then re-lock the car). My husband has his memory position and I have mine and each are linked to our key fobs so when I unlock the door the seat moves to accomadate my shorter legs.

I forget how you do it but its all explained in the owners manual. Took me a couple tries to get one of the fobs to take but now it works fines.
