Smile Lights Dim, Car Start, maintenance

Hello, I just bought a 2000 jetta vr6 a few days ago and recently I noticed that the headlights, interior, instrument panel dim when I have the car on drive. Its not a drastic dim but I want avoid a bigger problem. The only aftermarket product it has is a stereo.

The other issue is that when I first start the car it turns on fine but shortly after it shakes as if it wants to turn off but it doesn't, It lasts 2 seconds. I recently changed the spark plugs and wires.

Last I would like for someone to suggest any maintenance that needs to be done at 100k miles, this is the first time I've owned a Jetta so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

There is a mechanic in every corner, I don't need a mechanic I just need some suggestion from owners that have experienced this before. I can probably do some of the work myself I just need help diagnosing the problem with suggestions.
